About Me

Myriam Villalobos Hello! I’m Myriam Villalobos, a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) with certifications in Massachusetts, Florida, Rhode Island, and Connecticut. Over the years, I’ve been privileged to work in diverse roles—educational counselor, mental health clinician, teacher, educational writer, and consultant. Each of these experiences has deepened my understanding of human resilience and the unique paths we take toward growth.

In my private practice, I specialize in working with young adults, adults, and seniors who are committed to becoming the best versions of themselves. As an outpatient clinician, I bring a compassionate and personalized approach to therapy, drawing from models like Internal Family Systems, Compassionate Inquiry, Solution-Focused Therapy, and EMDR. These methodologies allow me to guide clients in uncovering their inner strengths, processing past experiences, and forging meaningful change.

I am particularly passionate about supporting the immigrant community, especially newcomers navigating the often-overwhelming journey of adaptation. This transition can deeply impact both individuals and family dynamics, and I am here to provide the understanding and guidance needed to overcome these challenges.

As a native Spanish speaker, I am proud to offer therapy in Spanish and English, ensuring that language is never a barrier to accessing support.

At the core of my work is a genuine commitment to helping people reconnect with themselves, heal, and thrive. Whether you're seeking clarity, healing, or a deeper sense of purpose, I would be honored to walk alongside you on your journey.
